East Tilbury is a place with a story worth telling properly. Between the Bata legacy, the river, the school, the football club and the everyday life that carries on around all of it, there's a version of this place that only the people who live here really know. This website is where residents can start telling that version.
Up to the end of December 2026 The Cultural Assembly is working with Start Thurrock to gather what matters to East Tilbury residents, what they want to see, make and experience in their own community. Ideas can come from anywhere and anyone. A memory, missing space or new tradition, something you already do or really want to do. Add your ideas here, build on what your neighbours have shared and shape what comes next.
